California Fonts
We provide free downloadable fonts to the masses.
Technology
We would like a set of image ads created for use on Google's display network. The ads will direct visitors to http://www.californiafonts.com and will entice them to download fonts.
We want the ads to be beautiful, and to include typography elements so users are aware that the landing page is font related, and that we have lots of fonts to browse and discover.
While NOT necessary, I've included our logo which is optional to use. It's not very good, and we won't hold it against anyone that do not use it. Bonus point if someone makes a cool logo in the process, but we don't expect that. :)
We prefer that you use fonts from the site but that's not a necessity.
The specs for the ads are:
• 250 x 250 Square
• 200 x 200 Small Square
• 468 x 60 Banner
• 728 x 90 Leaderboard
• 300 x 250 Medium Rectangle
• 336 x 280 Large Rectangle
• 120 x 600 Skyscraper
• 160 x 600 Wide Skyscraper
File size limit is 50k, and accepted formats are .gif, animated .gif, .jpg, .png, and Flash.
The purpose of any ad is of course to drive clicks, but also to capture the audience that are actually interested in fonts and might download fonts. From our site stats, we know a lot of users are on windows XP, which indicates they might not be very tech savvy (or have money to upgrade). Maybe that will help you.
The target market is the US.
Deliverable should be either .psd or .ai files, layers, with all the fonts you used included in the package (so we can edit the copy).
Please ask questions, and we'll try and answer asap.
