Individual Resolution Society picked a winning design in their logo design contest

For just US$495, they received 93 designs from 10 designers.

Once again, I am very satisfied with the results of a contest I created to find a logo for our company. I love the progression and that there are a variety of ideas brought to us for consideration. We are very happy with our new logo, and we wish 99designs all the success it truly deserves. — cwhitelmt1

Further requirements

We have new and specific ideas on how we want this logo to look:

Picture this—the Earth is in the middle with flowing large ribbons in burgandy, white and the two blues curving outward. There's a hand reaching down to grab another hand, and a hand raising up, open palmed. A slight shimmer is around this image.
