    Dang, if I had known this was a direction he liked I could have slapped the Lord's Prayer over my submission #691, but I thought I went away from that direction because I thought it was boring. Go figure.

    I think people are upset how this design was handled. This CH was no different than any of the other poor CH on this site. I mean another website knows about the winner before this contest does. This only solidifies how I feel about these mega church pastors.

    Also, because the winning design was one of the LAST entries, he had the chance to look at all of the entries and make a knock off. Here are some: #85, #217, #381, #518, #589, #1196, #1863, #2136 and many more. This is so NOT original and unprofessional. It is really a shame.

    Hehe seriously ? People spent hours and days doing their designs and this wins ? No disrespect but if he wanted something like that he could have saved himself the $5,000 and printed that thing out from microsoft word in 2 and a half minutes.

    congrats to the winner, If I was in a book store just browsing unfortently I wouldn't pick that book as the cover portrays it was boring.

    WOW! 5,000$ for a book cover that doesn't say ANYTHING AT ALL!!! He was one of the last posts... this is totally unfair for all of the 3,188 entries. Thats not all... the CH said on the brief that he wanted a cover that would stand out from the rest. This wont do the work. I'm not saying that the winner design is bad (congratulations btw), but choosing this from other 3,000+ GREAT DESIGNS and some of them were NOT using stock images is not fair for us designers.

    The Lord's prayer is powerful in its simplicity. I think this cover does a beautiful job conveying that - no fancy graphics needed. Congratulations to the winner!
