Great work, I had over 151 entries and the design that was created by umbertino was the most professional design that still managed to catch you eye. I found it was a great combination of professionalism with an artistic edge tossed it.

New Country radio station REBEL 95.3 FM serving Memphis, TN. from North Mississippi.
Contemporary country station playing the hottest new country hits and the best country favorites from the 90s to today. Plays more music, less talking, less commercials. Friendly and upbeat. Streams on http://www.rebel953.com
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
New electronic billboard campaign, 48' x 12' proportion. Same headline as attached design attached below but totally fresh design. "Now in Memphis!" added as a secondary message, possibly in snipe at top right, but not at the expense of the headline. URL deleted. Use updated logo as attached. Easy to read, contemporary typeface for headline and snipe. New bright, attention getting, inviting, upbeat background color(s). Billboards are electronic, so one the design is finalized you need to provide choice of several background colors which can be easily rotated daily. Also provide a choice of several background texture(s) to add interest without being distracting to message. Background textures can be easily rotated daily possibly materials/designs that would reinforce the country theme as well as add interest without detracting from the readability of the message. Layout is whatever you think works best, just so logo is very prominent (even larger than samples) and the logo design is not altered in any way. The billboard must easily readable as listeners drive by, which usually means the main message should be limited to as few as 5-7 easy to read words. The secondary message (Now In Memphis!) is less important and cannot take away from the main message. Note that the first example is our previous billboard which we now feel was too dark and uninviting. The second and third examples are first attempts to revise the board and neither were even close to what is needed. The winning design will deliver the main message much more boldly and the supporting design/colors/textures must support the new country branding and must be a cohesive professional design. Thanks!
REBEL 95.3 FM primarily targets listeners 25-49 but also appeals to listeners 18-34 and 35-64. Listeners are 60% female, 40% male.
The station is based in North Mississippi but the listening area has recently been greatly expanded to now blanket Memphis as well. Our major competitor is KIX106, the heritage Memphis country station. We need to to come across as younger, cooler, more fun to listen to. We talk less, play far less commercials and play much more country music. More of today's new country and more recent country hits. Both stations stream, so you can compare stations at http://www.kix106.com and http://www.rebel953.com.
