The Adventure Playbook needs a new book or magazine cover

A blog about adventure. The Adventure Playbook is a free ebook download with adventure ideas, how-to guides and inspiration for those looking to go on an adventure. I'm not talking about contiki travel holidays, but real adventure (mountain climbing, kayaking etc...).

I am writing an ebook about adventure and need the front cover designed.  I'd like a clean and simple style with a logo element. No photos please. I am a bit fan of illustrations (see book covers I've uploaded). I would really like it if there were some graphic elements (either the title itself or a logo) was included on the cover that I can use as branding throughout the books website (http://www.adventureplaybook.com). The dollar shave club has done this well (See attached logo or go to http://www.dollarshaveclub.com). Perhaps this could be as simple as a little drawing or icon, or the title written in an awesome font.  In terms of what images or graphic elements to include. There is a difference between extreme sports (which I don't really want) and multi-week expeditions. I've uploaded a few images of expeditions to give you an idea. Think about stuff like big mountains, rivers, treks, climbing, kayaking, hauling sleds etc... No mountain biking unless it's included with other activities and no images of people throwing their arms in the air like on those motivational posters please. Perhaps something like the evolution of man sketch but with adventurers? Or a hand drawn simple sketch (like the one attached). Feel free to go nuts and come up with whatever you think would look awesome. I've also uploaded a few other images and book covers I like. The elements I would like on the cover include: Title: The Adventure Playbook (needs to be easily readable when it's a small thumbnail). Tagline: Adventure ideas, how-to guides and tricks from the pros. (optional) Logo element (title could be the logo if interesting enough) Byline: Clark Carter I would also like the words "1st Edition" on there somewhere. Maybe quite small. I plan on releasing updates every year or so.
