What's your vision?

For this eBook cover I would like it to be simple but very specific... I definitely would like a bearded mallard duck - with a beard similar to that of the Robertson men on Duck Dynasty. I'm not sure if I want all or none of the following attached to the bearded duck but I would like to see options. The bearded duck with a duck call that reads Duck Commander on it. The duck with camo feathers. The duck with a tipped crown on top of its head. I would like the font of the title DUCK DYNASTY: Hunting for Spiritual Truths to be as close to the original Duck Dynasty theme/logo on www.AETV.com as possible without being identical. The rest of the wording can look like "The Beards Are Back" wording on their website. See attached image. I would like my name as the author to read, Alisa Franz. Along the bottom I would like it to read, A Discussion Guide for Families and Small Groups - Season 1.

I would like a JPEG file that is at least 2,500 pixels on the longest side with a height/weight ratio of 1.6. I need a large image that looks good as a thumbnail. I want the author font and title font large but the duck to be the popping piece. A bright colored well defined image. Thank you!

Book cover for “44 – Becoming Self” by Ania K
This book cover was designed for a spiritual fiction. The author had already in mind a specific scene described in the first chapter. To follow the writing, the angel needed to have an etheric appearance, while the little girl had to be seen as being “more real”. Although there were already some references regarding the appearance of the characters, I had some freedom to “create” them in a way that could be interesting for the viewers, adding some details. The atmosphere that surrounds them was also a very important aspect of the entire design, with the sunlight that comes through the trees. The mist was already part of the image chosen for the background, but the colors and contrasts had to be completely changed in order to make the whole imagery balanced and believable. One of the other details requested by the author was to give a big impact to the main title “44”. The effects and colors helped to make it stand out and, at the same time, to match the rest of the design.

Book cover for “100 Minutes with God” by Susan Grant
Since this is a devotion book for those who want to deepen their relationship with God in the middle of their hectic lives, the author requested a design that could capture the essence of time and of spiritual reflection. For that, I included the image of a pocket watch, similar to the one that was being used as a chapter symbol in the interior of the book. This way there is always a consistent theme and imagery in the entire book (in the inner and outer zones). I also wanted to represent the “start of a new day”, not only in a sense of time but also as a new opportunity to be with God, that can be achieved despite the busy life. The rising sun was a good way to transmit that message and also to give it that “eternal” sense (the sun rises everyday… no matter what). It also helps to give a very positive feeling to the entire design, as being a joyful invitation to join in these daily 100 Minutes of reflection.
