Netherfield Must Go
Nikki Payne There is a reason the same story can be told over and over and never get old. There are certain ideas we love to revisit. As anthropologist, I understand the power of a well told fairy tale and am unapologetic about my love for Romance Tropes. Here are a few of my faves that you WILL see in one book or another: *Enemies to Lovers- Yass *Mistake in hotel booking, or what I like to call "One Bed oh My" *Undeserving love interest gets comeuppance with spunky heroine/better hero *Force of nature- that winter storm/hurricane/earthquake that brings two unlikely characters together I believe in building the world I want to live in, so my heroes and heroines come from many backgrounds- though I borrow heavily from my own southern African American experience. Church on Sunday and romance novels are some of the most racially segregated spaces, as such, multicultural love still strikes me as the last frontier in romance writing and in creating shared understanding.
Liza B will do whatever it takes to thwart the man who seems to get whatever he wants. "This is the Culture-fied Pride and Prejudice I didn't know I needed!" -@blacklitreviews Liza Bennett is a local DJ with a lot of opinions. When she learns that property developer, Dorsey Fitzgerald of Pemberley Development Company, is getting ready to bulldoze her neighborhood, she is Not. Having. It. Now she plans to do whatever it takes to ensure that Pemberley and the arrogant and self-assured Dorsey Fitzgerald don't get their way. But with her family getting in the way at every opportunity, can she outwit the developers and save her neighborhood?
African American Women Women Jane Austen Lovers

carelocknik collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
