Zest Publishing is a fast growing online publishing platform company. With offices in the London, UK and a distribution network based in Europe, USA and Australia... "We aim to make publishing and self-publishing, easy, affordable and accessible to anyone, anyway and anywhere.
We desire to empower self-published authors to expand their reach, not only by crafting a compelling story, but by bringing out books that are well produced, well packaged and globally distributed. In addition, we assist authors by developing their online platform, allowing them to easily connect with their readership and build a strong community of raving fans.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
This is a POETRY book from a young poet in the UK. This poetry book was formed based on the author’s own view of reaching adulthood and some of the challenges and questions asked, during these formative years.
The cover design should incorporate the following information:
Author: “GEORGIA LYNNE ALLEN”
Title: “HOME COMING”
Image: The author is not sure if wants to use her own portrait image (Attached) or some other abstract image. If using a different image, please note it has to be of a young woman. It can be very abstract but with some touches of striking colour/s.

I would love to see various options of designs that will be different from the current design (See attachment), something more creative yet simple and contemporary.
I DON'T WANT any traditional designs like in the 1980's and 1990's of Poetry books.
Perhaps, a simple design to attract the Gen-X and Gen-Y of today. I am open to metaphoric messages to support the title of the book 'HOME COMING ".
Remember this is a collection of poems by a young poet, so it needs to have a cover that depicts that.
