- David Leahey
Working from a detailed but relatively unconstrained brief, David nailed the concept first time, and was very responsive to feedback. Very happy with the resulting artwork, and am engaging David again immediately to continue the overall project. Thanks David!
Amazing experience. Very professional designs and communications. I am very happy with the result. Will be back for sure :)

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A sci-fi/steampunk novel called Brassworks. The setting is a wasteland known as the Endless Desert, and a prison called the Brassworks. The large prison is mostly underground, with arrival and administration housed on the surface. The entire structure sits in the shadow of Mount Abaddon, a diagonal and jagged mountain--all that remains of the asteroid that reset the clock on humanity.
I'm trying to convey a sense of steampunkery, though the novel will touch on a lot of sci-fi themes. The story takes place in a mostly rural, desert setting. There are no cities, just small one-street towns. There is a pseudo villain in the form of the local Sheriff, and the hero is a blacksmith's apprentice.
I am very open and interested in minimalist designs as well.
