The book title is: Key Questions for Educational Leaders. The target audience are educational leaders (in schools, colleges, universities) as well as educational leadership professors (who will use the book as part of their courses.
The book provides a collection of forty-five questions that educational leaders face. Forty-five professors from Canada, U.S., UK, Australia and Europe each submitted answers to a specific question. Some of the questions include: 1) What is social justice leadership?; 2) How can educational leaders support parent engagement in schools?; 3) How should student voice impact on educational leadership?
The book will feature some of the most prominent scholars in educational leadership throughout these countries.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are looking for the "wow" factor here for the cover. We have outstanding content but need a cover that will draw people to pick up the book. We are looking for a cover that is not too busy or cliché (an apple would be cliché). The cover would have to look good in a thumbnail version since many of our marketing will be online. Our names would be on the front cover but need not be big or over-emphasised: John P. Portelli & Darrin Griffiths
There should be a line open near the top of the front cover for a quote from someone who has read the book and suggests it would be a great read.
The target audience will be overwhelmingly practising educational leaders (principals, headmasters, etc).
