A 5.5 inch wide by 8.5 inch high front cover (plus a .125” bleed) 300 dpi book cover with the title THE GOSPEL OF WOLVES Ep. 1 and the author name CHRIS WESLEY. There should be a print version and e-book version of just the front. (We will design spine and back cover to coordinate with front cover).
The cover should be inspired by the concept of “The Pack” with consideration to the storyworld mentioned above and will set the visual tone for future books in the series. Feel free to go high or low concept or explore the meaning behind being part of a group that survives by sticking together.
The Gospel of Wolves Ep. 1 is an introduction to a ‘Game of Thrones meets the modern entertainment industry through the lens of Alfred Hitchcock’ storyworld. The four main characters stories introduced in this story are:
Andros Koresh has staked his music career hopes on a teenaged girl who is pursuing music against her family’s wishes. He will sacrifice everything he’s worked for to ensure their success together. What he doesn’t know about her family relations though, is the thing that will cost him the most.
Lindsey Falco is dreaming her future. She can feel it. But in those dreams, a child she doesn’t have yet, is kidnapped just before she herself, is grabbed from behind. It’s a premonition warning her that she better act quickly to keep alive the future of a family she never knew she wanted, by saving a man she never met.
Lucien Karr fails one too many times to ‘get the girl’. In a gesture he hopes will turn his luck, he crashes the birthday party of a billionaire’s twenty-two year old son. Lucien’s luck turns, but not in the way he imagined when he becomes one of the young man’s presents.
Aristotle Troublefield is about to record his sophomore music release. In the days leading up to going in the studio, he will face the potential loss of everyone he cares about and he’ll face a piece of his past that wouldn’t mind him dead.
We're looking forward to seeing your ideas!
