AleMiglio did many edits, early and often, right to the very end with no complaints! He was highly attentive and did a wonderful job. We will certainly work with him again.
How Jan Brinkmann started their book cover journey

I have a blog at codingtutor.de where I teach/show people how to start programming.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I need a eBook cover. I'm writing a book for people who are about to enter the world of programming and need guidance through the vast majority of options they're facing. It should be some kind of "lighthouse" that guides them.
I need a cover that can be used as a brand. I have a few more book ideas coming. Those books should be optically related. Therefor it's important that the creative elements can be replaced easily, like an image for example. To give you an idea regarding the branding, here an example from the same publisher:
Texts for the cover:
- title (german): "Entwickler werden - Ratgeber für Einsteiger" (means translated something like Become a developer - A beginners guide)
- author (me): Jan Brinkmann
Important: The text should be readable even if the cover is scaled down to a small size (see "related book titles" on amazon.com).
The logo should be used. The cover.ai file is an example that could be used to indicate the programming concept. But: it's just one option. Stockphotos or something like that could be interesting, too.
