Change Her Fate: Volume 1
Aaron LaMar & Emily LaMar
After graduating from the University of Kansas, Aaron started his teaching career in Physical Education and later Creative Writing. He works alongside his wife who studied Elementary and Special Education.
After his girlfriend's life is taken, a teenaged boy (Jack) keeps his vow to her (Heather) and makes it his priority to always be there for her little sister (Lisa). Jack does not want Lisa to suffer the same fate as her older sister. While Lisa is struggling with her mental illness and loss, she is determined to discover the truth about what really happened to Heather. Lisa will work alongside Jack (her sister’s boyfriend and her secret crush) to see if what the media says is true, and if it is, there might not be any way to prevent Lisa’s tragic fate.
Young adults, Teens, Age range: 13 to 18
Book cover type
I would like for the main character (Jack) to be looking over Lisa's shoulder while she is contemplating ending her life (Ending her life could mean slitting wrists, or holding a gun, or anything). It can be romantic, where he is holding her hand or holding her from behind.
