I deliver capability to financial advisors through workshops, key note presentations, formal training and one-on-one coaching. My focus is on the first meeting - where a prospective client meets an advisor for the first time. You could describe what I do as delivering sales skills. But I do so in a very customised way that addresses the particular challenges, content and nuances that are present during this all-important conversation.
What's your vision?
My book provides the reader with a new approach to selling financial advice. I have suggested that making use of persuasive psychology rather than traditional selling is far more appropriate for a professional advisor. The book is non-fiction, the audience is financial advisors and the title is "Powerful Words". The by-line is - "Dawn of a profession: The new way to sell financial advice". I would like you to consider the following words when designing the cover: Conversation, persuasion, psychology, mind, financial advice, selling. I don’t think that a picture would work. This book is about words. It’s about a conversation between a professional advisor and people looking for financial advice. It is based on the psychology of buying. It presents the user with the ability to "take a peek inside the mind of the buyer and to adjust the conversation according to what the buyer is thinking".
