Hello designers, I need a 6” x 9” cover for a paperback book on “project management.” If you don’t know what project management is, this probably is not a good assignment for you! Here’s information on the book:
Title: Fundamentals of Project Management
Edition: Fifth Edition
Author: Joseph Heagney
Note: there’s NO subtitle on this book
Audience: New project managers or regular managers who need to learn some basics of project management.
Over all “look and feel": Very welcoming, encouraging, and contemporary with a simple, engaging layout.
Possible imagery: A friendly image from the project management field — not a cold, highly-complex image, but a accessible and interesting image of a “project managment tool,” such as gaant charts, work breakdown structure, flowchart, project network, dependency chart, etc. (I’ve attached a document called Project Mgmt-Graphics, in case you’re not familiar with these)
Published books with similar feel: I’ve attached a compilation called Project ManagmentFriendly that shows the kind of style we need.
NOTE: Please show me your designs as a face-front, flat image. You’re welcome to include an angled “3D” version if you want, but we want to be able to compare all the designs in a flat format. We prefer jpgs that are about 1200 pixels tall.
I’ve attached information on what new content is in this fifth edition, just to give you a feeling for the book, but you don’t need to use any of this content on the cover.
