What's your vision?
I'm seeking a cover for my next eBook, a science fiction/fantasy adventure titled "Abraham." The preferred dimensions are 1563x2500 pixels. Synopsis: A young man awakens, having lost his memory, finding himself on a world he does not recognize, in a body that is not his own, without a name. However, none of this is a cause for panic, and he feels a strange sense of serenity and even joy at this turn of events. He is soon found by a mysterious traveler and given a new name - Abraham. He is taken from the world on which he awakens and transported aboard a derelict, sabotaged freighter formerly on course towards a colony belonging to a form of humanity known as the Bahjee. On board, Abraham and his new friend are jailed and accused of treason. Things go from bad to worse when the real saboteurs appear and seize control of the vessel. The novel starts on a very light note, and although it grows progressively darker, it still retains humor and hope to the end. As such, the cover should not be exceedingly dark, and although it could contain an element of the ominous, that should not be the prevalent theme. Since the locations vary so wildly throughout the book, it would be best to focus on the overall tone and genre. Much of the book deals with adventure, discovery, and wonder. A specific portion of the book in the first chapter involves descending a spiral staircase wrapped around a central column into a vast cavern filled with light green luminance. Abraham follows, while his companion leads him down the staircase, a ball of light clutched in his outstretched hand. The new body Abraham is given - and the morphology of his companion - involve dog-like features, large triangular ears, elongated faces/muzzles, and coats of fur. If they appear at all, it should be in silhouette. You may use the scenario provided, or blindside me with something I didn't even think of. Good luck!
Major themes in this story include discovery, identity, innocence, trust, forgiving oneself, and the power the past may or may not hold over a person's life.
