What's your vision?
Hello designers. We need a 6” x 9” paperback cover designed. Below is a description of what we want. Title: A Plant-Based Life Subtitle: Your Complete Guide to Great Food, Radiant Health, Boundless Energy, and a Better Body Author: Micaela Cook Karlsen Foreword (this goes under the author): T. Colin Campbell, author of The China Study and Whole ----Design Information---- Audience: The book is for anyone who wants to learn how to have a totally plant-based diet (no meat, fish, or dairy products). This can be hard to do for both practical reasons (many foods are hard to find) and because of emotional barriers that get in your way (it’s hard to let go of old habits and your family and friends may resist the change). Over all “look and feel": Modern and sophisticated, but very friendly. We want the cover to make a plant-based life look wonderful! Should feel healthy, delicious, satisfying. We don’t want the title to be separated from the image in colored boxes or bands. It should feel like a cohesive whole. NOTE: this should NOT look like recipe book. Imagery: an abundant, lush collection of wonderful-looking, colorful vegetables, fruits, and beans (such as black beans or kidney beans.) We want to show all three types (vegetables, fruits, beans) It should make you want to sit down and eat! We do not want any photos of people on the cover. Published books with similar feel: I have created a compilation of competitive books. Some are similar to what we want and some are very much NOT what we want. I have notes on the attached pdf that explains how we feel about the covers. Content is attached.
