Book description
This story is a modern take on serious issues such as war and the human psychology. Long description: Siren Eyre is your average high school girl. She stays away from conflict and has little interest in drama. However, something terrible happens. A group of people known to have connections with the start of the New War have come to her school. After being kidnapped, Siren has to change her name and pretend that she is someone else in order to survive. Making a deal with a strange boy named Shadow, she discovers the mysteries of the war and the group called The Martyred Men. How long will she have to endure this torture before she can finally escape? How long will she survive?
