What's your vision?
Hello Designers! New author of urban fantasy and we are looking for a kick butt cover design (ebook and print)
Cover Art for a urban fantasy novel ---------------------- Title: Hunted Sub Title: A Jonathan Harker Novel Author: Christopher Draven Like all authors, I’m looking for an awesome cover to my novel: a witty, slightly dark modern/urban fantasy novel. The image must be vivid and eye-catching. Short Description: Jonathan, a constantly traveling mage, is attacked by demons because a Summoner put out a Pact Bounty (a magical agreement that spells great danger for our Hero). The Summoner wants something Jonathan has…and Jonathan doesn’t wish to give it up. Settings: industrial building, abandoned. Modern. Hero: Appears to be in his late 20s/early 30s, handsome but not too pretty, European descent, trendy dresser (never wears jeans). Dark brown hair, stubble on face, fair skin, light blue eyes. Fit but not hyper-muscled. Could appear to have magic in hands (if this is done, will want an action shot and something cool – not the overdone glowing red/blue orb/fire thing that is seen a lot). Examples of covers that I love (but are more for thematic use than requests for them to be imitated): - The Fog Seller - Any of the “Iron Druid Chronicles” covers on Amazon (i.e. Hounded/Hexed/etc.) Notes - This is the first book in a series. I’m looking for a strong first impression. - If a character is used, I’ll want to use that character in different poses/etc. for future novels. So I’ll likely be open to giving additional projects like this to the selected designer.
