Hello designers. We’d like for you to design a 6” x 9” paperback for us. Here’s the information on the book:
Title: 101 Ways for Managers to Hire, Develop, and Keep Great Employees
Author: Paul Falcone
Audience: Managers at middle levels
Over all “look and feel": Very friendly and contemporary, without being silly or childish, as this is a business book. Please spend extra effort on making sure the title is very readable and with logical line breaks. We would like a fairly BIG titles. Probably no boxes. Not an extremely condensed font. There are THREE groups of words that should each work as unit individually, but still blend as a whole title.
2. Hire, Develop, Keep
3. Great Employees
Possible imagery: probably an all-type design, but we’re open to a small, icon-like image that represents an employee or a “great” employee
Published books with similar feel: I have attached two collections. One is called LongTitles-Fun. The titles aren’t actually very long, but they have a very contemporary feeling, and really make use of the title in a creative way. Another is called SeriousButABitFun that gives you some more approaches.
Some information about the book is attached.
Thanks, Cathleen Ouderkirk
