Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am an author, and my target audience is my readers, who enjoy science fiction and magic.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I am looking for something that melds technology and magic together. This is what my writing is all about. The short cliff notes version: Humanity destroyed Earth through war but finally gained peace at the cost of the being able to sustain human life. They used what was left to construct arcs and fly to another planet. Once on this new planet they find that everyone has the ability to use magic, and they have to rebuild society from scratch. My story is 999 years after that. Most of the population live in large domed cities, to keep out native insects. Society has been rebuilt, and is thriving. There is a new sport called Mixed Magical Arts that puts groups of people against each other in a test of physical and magical might. A new piece of technology is created called a stasis band, protecting the wearer from death and dampening attacks while in a Mixed Magical Arts match. The bulk of the story revolves around this and the character having his inner powers awaken, because he is one of the growing number of people who can't use magic with out a focus or rune.
I am more than happy to share all of my writing on my world that I have put together to give a better feel of the whole to make the work better. This is going to be the first of many covers that I am going to be looking into having created. Author: Mark Brandon Powell, Title: The Zero Class Dimensions: 5.26"x 8.5" with a .5"margin around the edges that cannot have any lettering with in it, that has at least 300 DPI. Also my series title: Cypher Theorem The attached photos are what I have currently, but I am looking for something different, that conveys the mixture of magic and technology. maybe a fantasy setting with someone overlooking a science fiction looking cities covered in domes. man in long trench coat that has hood, man looking away. he also has a metal ring on his right wrist, with a portion of it having a screen/glass finish (if that is even necessary which it might not be)
