We do not want to forget our residential marketing, but we want our new brand to reflect 70% commercial audience and 30% residential moving forward. Our current logo was designed for high-end residential work only. We think the old look is dated, colors are muted and just needs a fresh new look! However, maybe we are wrong. Maybe the diamond and brush is just fine but needs a few tweaks and color scheme.
When I show you some logos we like, we want you to have the freedom to do what you think is best. We also don't want you to copy or get super close. We just like the simplicity of a couple logos we will show you. It is also easy to use these logos on hats, shirts and other branding pieces. We like to have a simplified logo that incorporates our new name. It is now MB Jessee Painting instead of just M B Jessee. People did not know we did painting just from the old name. We want to use the LOGO by itself for gear (hats, front of shirts, etc). But we also need the full logo to have the name as well. We will show you an example on how Allbright Painting has the rounded logo by itself and then fully spelled out.
We need to see not only the logo but as we get further along, how it might look on print materials, hats, vehicles etc.
Colors need to be bright and recognizable (not muted)
We like how the Allbright logo can be used in several ways including the Circle by itself.
We might not want to lose the paintbrush in our current logo. It is just dated and needs to be rethought or redesigned. It is an old school-looking brush. We can be talked into staying with a diamond look for the logo. It does not have to be a circle or a square. We originally were told a diamond gives the appearance of growth? Open to suggestions.
The owner is tired of his color scheme too. Will want colors to work well when we need to go black and white.
Our commercial painting projects are normally big. Our company is growing with close to 50 people, so we want our logo to make us look like we are growing and not a small outfit.
Nash Painting logo you see, simple. Paintbrush, not our favorite...a little too simple. I also like how Amazon.com incorporated the smile face that starts with A and ends at the Z. &#34;We have everything from A-Z is the message. FedEx logo has an arrow between the EX and it says that they are going places and getting things done -that is the mesage. So we want to find a way to have MB Jessee Painting logo do something cool like that (growth, commercial, not going anywhere).
