We have an existing logo for Bugden Allen Lawyers, but we'd like to modernise it. It also does not reflect visually what we do as a firm.
We are led by global experts in their field, so we want the logo to be professional but modern. We are also pitching ourselves as a digital law firm, as we own a software company called "Stratavine". We like to see the Stratavine logo and the new Bugden Allen Lawyers logo more aligned. As these two companies are part of the same group, some level of consistency across our brands is important.
One of the issues with our current logo is its in a weird font ("Nilland") which we don't use in any of our documentation etc, so ideally we'd like a logo that we can use the same or similar font in our letters etc. FYI, we use "Calibri" in our letters but it does not have to be this font.
We have designed a new web site, and the site incorporates the current red colour of our existing logo, so we might need to maintain this in the new one, but that is not critical. I have attached a screen shot of the home page we have designed.
We specialise in "strata" law, which is a broad area focused on apartment living. Approx. 25% of all Australians live in apartments, and this number is growing, so we'd like the logo to have broad appeal.
We thought for an icon, an outline of a modern apartment building, like the ones attached, which sits above or next to the name of the firm "Bugden Allen Lawyers". That way our logo is associated with property or buildings, which is what we specialise in. It needs to be minimalist and clean, not cluttered.
