Excellent icon design and we got our refinement ideas implemented very quickly. In the end it was easy to pick a winner from many high quality designs.
4th project. Amazing to work with.
Ashim is a great designer.
Obviously he took his idea from the famous Steve Jobs RIP but hey... we all need to get inspiration some where.
Ashim communicated very well with me, made the modifications I asked for and sent me all the required files promptly. He was the first designer I invited for my next contest!!
Thank you Ashim

We create useful smartphone apps for iOS, Android, Windows Phone and other platforms.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need a new icon for our barcode reader app. The app uses smartphone camera to scan the code and immediately sends it to PC wirelessly (over WiFi). Just like a normal barcode scanner but it works wirelessly. There are many barcode scanner apps available, but not many for sending scanned barcodes to PC. Icon should emphasize our selling point that barcodes are sent wirelessly to PC. Preferably it displays 1D barcode instead of QR code as most users will be scanning normal 1D barcodes.
Icon must look good at both low (57x57) and high (512x512) resolutions. Layered .PSD files must be provided as well as PNG files for the following sizes:
29 x 29
48 x 48
57 x 57
72 x 72
96 x 96
114 x 114
512 x 512 - this version can have more details than the smaller icons.
The app icon should be a square - no rounded corners. Rounded corners can be added for a mockup. As we plan to use it for both iPhone and Android, guidelines for those icon designs from Apple and Google should mostly be followed.
