Spray Tan Chic (http://www.spraytanchic.com)
I'm a mother of 2, wife of 1. I pride myself in being true to myself, to my family and friends. I'm not into faking it....unless it comes to a tan. I recently started my own mobile spray tanning company in San Diego. For years, I searched for a family friendly career that would allow me to have flexible hours and be there for the majority of my children's early years. Mobile spray tanning was the answer. I had no idea when I started this that I would love my clientele as much as the money. When I leave a new customer's house, I feel like I've made a new friend. Corny but true. I think I relate with people easily and can't help but bring my dry sense of humor along with me. Sunless tanning is growing fast and I want potential customer's to have trust in me. Getting nude in front of a stranger and fearing your skin will turn orange can leave people hesitant to try a spray tan. To add to it, I am exclusively mobile and will be entering their home. I want it to have a "chicness" to it since the word CHIC is part of the company name.
Most of the clientele I am looking to target would be women. I'm looking for higher end clientele that know good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good. This audience would be more service oriented. Instead of going to get something done, they want it to come to them. This audience has a busy life and appreciates being pampered in the privacy of their own home.
Brides and their bridal party are another HUGE target. Tanning parties are very popular. Everyone gets a tan while making a night out of it. They look good for the event and in the photos.
My color scheme would be black, gray, white and pink. I want a clean look with the main navigation bar right below header. I would like a gradient background that goes from solid black and slowly transitions down to dark gray. The site must be centered and a 2 column layout.
I'm not exactly sure where I want the logo to go. The diamond tiara is very symmetrical so I think top center or top left but am open to ideas. I'm open to resizing the logo. I might even move away from the logo if it doesn't fit the feel I'm looking for. I've included an image of some scrolling that I like. I wouldn't mind seeing something with this but I think it would be too overpowering with the both.
I'm realizing I really like sites that are primarily black with white text.
Here are a few salon websites that I liked the cleanness of.

I like but am not limiting the font to Lucida Sans Unicode.
I want a feminine look to it.
Thank you!!
