Badge Design for Math Program
Check out travis.ratnam.kh's Icon or button contest…
We build math software that gets kids prepped for standardized testing. We work hard to make the experience enjoyable and motivate them to improve.
What's your vision?
Hi I’m searching for someone with graphic design skill, creativity, and ability to come up with appealing designs for virtual badges that will motivate students to try and complete specific sections of a math software in order to unlock them. The badges will have a 3d feel to them and will be in a ‘set’ that will have both an outlined but non coloured version (indicating it is not earned yet) and a full colour, shiny version which will indicate earned. I have in mind badges made for the Cars 2 Xbox game (attached) but we are looking for quality and creativity. The most important factor is that they are really awesome looking and are actually things kids look forward to earning. Please give an estimate of the cost of designing each badge set (the outlined and coloured version is a set as described above) with your submission b/c future work will include making 9 badge sets in total. This initial project will be for 9 badge sets and will have the below requirements 1. Must look good at 65x65 pixels (smallest that will be shown on screen), but must look good at twice that size, around 120x120 also. 2. Badges are to be designed in vector format (Adobe Illustrator) or Photoshop in high resolution and we will require the original Photoshop PSD files as well as a JPG Please feel free to ask any questions and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Proposed topic: Solving Problems involving Proportional Reasoning. (Includes Equivalent ratios, unknown values in a proportion, comparisons using unit rates) Thanks James
