Games & Recreational
We are a game company running the simcountry game. Simcountry is a MMOG game (Massive Multiplayer Online Game). Each player in the game is a president of a country (or an empire of multiple countries). They play a strategic economic game or a strategic/war game. The target audience is mostly young people, 18 to 35 but many players are much older. There are 70 year old players too. Simcountry is too complex for kids and we try to discourage 12 to 17 year old kids from playing. About 30% are women.
What's your vision?
We are looking for a set of map icons that will replace our current icons used on our maps. Icons are used on all our world and country maps to show cities (big and small), corporations, military objects, military units etc. Please check the legend screen (attached) where all our current icons are shown. We would like to renew/improve the icons on this page that are also used on our maps. Please also check a map example. (attached). Improving these icons means that we want to add new sets of icons that will replace current icons and allow our players more choices of icons on their country maps. Multiple sets will be preferred. All icons showing on the legend screen should be renewed with the exception of: Transportation and attitudes. There are maps in different sizes and zoom functions that allow players to see more details. As a result, icons must be available in the following sizes: 16 x 16 32 x 32
Here are a few things to think about: 1. No Cartoons - we want it to be playful but not cheap or childlike 2. We like the icons to be colorful so that our maps will end up much nicer. The files we will require are: Web file format - .png and layered .psd (RGB) Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the icons.
