Entertainment & The Arts
I'm a USA Today bestselling novelist in the archaeological thriller genre. The target audience is usually people 27+ who enjoy stories such as Indiana Jones, Da Vinci Code, Goonies, National Treasure.
What's your vision?
I'm looking for character illustrations I can sell to my readers and give away in contests. These illustrations could look like comic books style art, or your own spin on it. The overarching goal is to have artwork of all my main characters, as well as pivotal or important scenes from the various stories. To start, I'd like to get an illustration of my main character, Sean Wyatt. He's six feet tall, slim athletic build, functional strength. Short, sometimes shaggy dirty blond hair, slight tan, gray eyes. He wears khakis and beige cargo pants often, along with T-shirts often of his favorite bands, retro video games, Atlanta Braves, Falcons, or United teams, or sometimes just a white T-shirt or white button up. He's a tough guy, former secret agent for a covert agency known as Axis. Now, he works for the International Archaeological Agency out of Atlanta, where he specializes in recovering artifacts, and occasionally discovering them. His weapon of choice is a .40 caliber Springfield pistol, but he's deadly with just about anything. I would love to see a few different action-oriented poses if possible. Again, use your own spin. Try out different clothes, elements, backgrounds, whatever. Sean has been to many countries, so feel free to drop him into a background in Tokyo or Paris or London or wherever. It's up to you.
I've included a few images from book covers and other artwork from the Indiana Jones series to give you an idea of the feel for the stories, and the characters.
