We are a veterinary hospital that does blood donations.
What's your vision?
I would like a brochure and comic designed. The comic is to be part of the brochure. This brochure is to give to people who may be interested in having their dogs donate blood. In the brochure, I would like to have a comic strip which tells a story. In the brochure, I was thinking about having a comic strip which tells a story. One of the ideas I had revolves around the Australian cartoon Bluey . Young Bob (Grandfather of Bluey from the cartoon series. (https://blueypedia.fandom.com/wiki/Bob) is working in a factory and he hears over the loudspeaker that there has been a big train accident at Granville and blood donations are required. Bob goes over to the hospital to donate blood and whilst there, meets Ana (cartoon character dog - https://blueypedia.fandom.com/wiki/Nana) who receives his blood. They fall in love and have a son called Bandit. (https://blueypedia.fandom.com/wiki/Bandit) Another idea I had revolves around secret superheroes - Sleeping dog hearing a call for help, turns into a superdog that donates blood. This blood is given to a sick dog that gets better. The superdog then goes back home and changes back to a normal dog and goes back to sleep so basically a secret superhero. I'm open to changes to the story to make the artwork easier but the themes need to be around things like how blood donations save lives, blood donors are important, blood donors are superheroes, etc. I was thinking along the lines of a trifold or bifold A4 brochure If Bifold: Page 1 Cover page - logo, brochure title, graphic Page 2 Comic Page 3 Client info text Page 4 Location map, contact information If Trifold: Page 1 Cover page - need logo, title Page 2 Comic Page 3 Comic Page 4 Client info text Page 5 Client info text Page 6 Location Map, contact information
If you are using the Bob/Nana/Bluey idea, please ensure that your drawings are different to the original due to copyright issues. Make Bob, Nana and Bluey much younger than the actual cartoon.
