HA is a blog that carries a sense of light heartedness, esteem for colorful history characters and quality history article content. We blog about weird, gross, cool, interesting history things.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Note: I want to mention that I want an illustration that is realistic, based on real looks of these people. (William Wallace for example is scarce to find on the internet so something that looks like what Braveheart depicted him as, blue paint/Scottish kelt drapes/crazy mane like hair).Vlad the impaler/genghis khan is the same deal images are scarce, so with those types please feel free to take some artistic liberties.
Required: I am looking for a history character montage. The montage needs to flow side to side and not look jumbled up and patched together. I have a sketch that gives a good outline and the sketch has a certain scaling for each character that I hope works out. Vlad the impaler should be slightly larger than the others, a focal point. All of the characters I have sketched have all been found from pictures on google images most of them from wikipedia commons images.
Not shown in my sketch but needed: Ghengis khan somewhere in the middle. Between the spartan and baby face nelson.
I want to put the "ha" logo in the bottom left but I am interested in how an alternative "history addicted" text would look like as well.
Free to be creative: scaling, character backgrounds/colors. "Addicted" in "History Addicted" needs to be that same red color as the "ha" logo I have attached to match my site's flow but the text "Addicted" could look something like the "season pass" text in the attached image, minus the blood spatter stuff. Feel free to experiment with the yellow color and letters in "history". Feel free to experiment with the Ghengis khan somewhere in the middle.
all the characters can be found pretty easily on google images, particularly the ones I drew my sketches from.
