Developing an infographic intended to provide a quick visual reference for selecting a repair solution depending on the type of damage and the type of culvert being repaired.
Illustrated representations of several different types of culvert damage, as outlined in the "Graphic Structure" attachment.
This will be complimentary to the "Choose the Right Culvert Repair Solution" guide, which is attached for reference.
The body of the piece will essentially be a table showing types of damage and the recommended repair solution. My team will work out the final approach to the infographic, but we need illustration assistance for the nine damage types.
I’ve pulled a number of shots into the "Reference Images.zip" folder, grouped by the type of damage. There’s also a text file in that folder with a few notes about how each type of damage manifests itself for the sake of clarity.
From an output POV, simple black & white vector is going to work best. Ideally, we'd be looking at a 45 degree cross-section of the pipe, which provides the "visual context" needed for several damage types. See the attached Cross Section Reference for guidance. However, we don't need to show as much length as this example--the purpose is to show the angle and cutaway approach.
