We love icons and typography. Like many “explainer” videos on the market, we are using an info-graphic style for our motion graphics. Our WIP rough cut on this video contains statements and animated iconography to support concepts. (A partial work in progress rough cut is attached for reference. You'll note that the product names in the video are unfamiliar. This is because they are fictitious and for demonstration purposes. https://docs.google.com/a/veryniceindustries.com/file/d/0B1Ko33FfsxklLU9TbzVxSzVZSlE/edit?pli=1). Because our objective is to use all of the elements from this infographic in a video, we want the infographic to be built vertically, with panels arranged from the top of document (any length) to the bottom. Individual panels should be 16:9 vector compositions. Our greatest needs in this design are a solid typographic style that works well in small and large sizes and a coordinated color palette to create a contemporary, easy to read style which presents complex analytical data in a simple, straightforward manner. Because our audience is professional, nothing too cartoonish please. The attached work in progress rough cut includes various use of fonts Open Sans and Avenir for a crisp sans-serif way to read data and analytics info. These fonts are for placement only. We’re open to any (Google) font combinations you think are appropriate and versatile in our context. In addition to the work in progress video and brief document attached, we have also provided a small collection of relevant vector icons in the event that you don't have any of your own. We have high hopes for this contest and look forward to seeing your entries. If this works well for us, we plan to come back for a lot more similar deliverables! We're quite easy to work with and will provide quick feedback on all of your entries.
