Story to tell in the infographic
This is a somewhat complex infographic that is probably best off shaped using a pyramid design or ladder. The title should be Highest Paying Finance Jobs. There should be 3 main sections: The Buy-Side, Banking / Pre Buy-Side Jobs, and Tier 1 Stepping Stone Jobs. Each of those 3 sections has different classes of jobs, and within those classes of jobs or the actual job titles. For example, the Buy-Side is at the top and is broken into 3 classes: Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and VC. For this top tier, there should be some reference to the total compensation level which is $125k - $250k. Next up we have the section for Banking/ Pre Buy-Side Jobs. This is broken into two divisions: The Banks & Asset Managers. Starting with The Banks, there are 4 job titles: Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Corporate Banking and Equity Research. Total comp for this section is $75k - $150k. Then we have the Asset Managers which is divided into 3 examples: Fidelity, Blackrock, and The Big Banks. Total comp for this section is $85k - $110k. For our last big tier we have The Tier 1 Stepping Stone Jobs. This is broken into 4 classes: Credit, The Big 4, Asset Managers, and Corp Dev. Starting with Credit, thats divided into 3 types of jobs: Ratings Agencies, Credit Risk and Commercial Banking. Total comp there is $75k to $90k. Next we have the Big 4 divided into 2 types: Valuation and Corporate Advisory. Total comp: $75k - $85k. Next we have the Asset Managers divided in 3 which are: Search Funds, Small Asset Managers, and Investment Management. Total comp: $60k - $80k. Last up we have Corp Dev divided in 2 which are Fortune 500's and Small Roll-ups. Total comp $75k - $110k. I did a really rough sketch of what it could look like below but get creative if there are other better structure
