sherbino got their new infographic by running a design contest:
Teaching Doctors Better: A new model for medical education
Check out sherbino's Infographic contest…
Story to tell in the infographic
The current model for postgraduate medical education is changing dramatically. A new vision for the PGME office is required top meet the new opportunities and challenges. The current organization of PGME is well designed. Other candidates will suggest why they fit the current structure. But the accreditation bodies (e.g. the organizations that provide the rules / structure of PGME) are changing every element of PGME to bring residency education into the 21st century. I want to demonstrate that I am the candidate that is thinking ahead to how things will be, NOT thinking about how I can continue to support the current structure / design.
