We were looking for a simple, memorable design that could relate across a number of related but fundamentally different business units. This was our first time utilizing the 99 designs service and had no idea what to expect.
The competition turned out to be very tough and choosing a winner was not a simple process as many designers produced some excellent material for us to choose from. In the end 3rie's design just fit with our need for simple and powerful, neat and versatile.
After the competition 3rie continued to make numerous alterations in order to satisfy our need to see slight variations. In the end we stuck with the original design... the extra work put in by 3rie was really appreciated! We would definitely work with 3rie again...thank you 3rie for you efforts, we are well pleased.
fast work, understood brief, super flexible and creative.

To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
For the logo, we’re trying to go with a design that has a noir feeling to it as to give an idea of the kind of novels we mainly publish; classical, if slightly ominous.
Some kind of depiction of a bottle or glass of Sherry is a must; if cherries could somehow be incorporated in an intelligent manner, we will definitely be attracted more to that design, as will anything that can work in mist, ice, or some sense of coldness in the logo picture.
As for the card itself, we simply ask for creativity that doesn’t compromise the legibility; we want it to look nice but still be easy to read. Thanks!
