New business so no existing designs to see. Slogan can be dropped if it isn't working.
Edit: see attached files for some ideas with kids blocks. I could only find one 'L' so used upsidedown '1' to demonstrate. Would be cool to have something meaningful on the underside of the CLEVER blocks, e.g. 2=1+1 (or 6-3=3 etc) is possible where the E blocks are identical (they have E on one side and 1 on the other) and perhaps a smiley face on the underside of the R. Bright and bold block colours and lowercase letters.
In the case where the right hand side of the E and R blocks are visible (e.g. littleclever1.jpg) those faces could have stylised smartphones and/or game controllers.
Other areas worth exploring are writing 'little' in crayon scrawl ( http://wordswrittenincrayon.squarespace.com/ ) and 'clever' in clear pencil handwriting (with faint lines behind guiding letter height (e.g. http://dw-wp.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Picture-31.png )
Also incorporating a representation of a brain might be good too.
