I thought the designer adjusted very well during the contest. I was originally going with another design. But he must have noticed I like the sword and shield feel to the logo design and he was able to make an adjustment that made his design my favorite.
Did a great job.
Excellent work, definitely I'll work with her again

The images attached is to give a general idea of the land we work on. The cliffs are well above rivers/lakes. Above the rivers are sloping tree covered hill sides, and vertical/overhanging cliffs at the top.
The first logo attached is from the American Mountain Guides Association. They incorporated a climbing rope into their logo border. I do not want to copy that idea, but like the idea of a climbing rope being worked into the logo.
The final logo attached is our current logo. Not impressed with it, but that is what we currently have.
I would like the logo to able to be screen printed onto work shirts, so it can't be overly complicated. It would be great if the logo was able to incorporate the name of the Company: Appalachian Mountain Guides.
