What’s your company slogan?
Tagline will be: "Get Small to Make a Big Difference."
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are an educational consulting company that helps schools to improve. Our target audience is a principal who has tons of data they're supposed to use, but doesn't know what to do with it. We help them to simplify, focus and get results. Our tagline is "Get Small to Make a Big Difference." Our approach is to help them focus on a small group of kids and a small problem in ways that then will lead to big changes and big improvement.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Other color requirements
We really like the versions of gray, blue and orange that are on our book cover (Attached). Aqua Blue could be the primary color with gray and/or orange as more secondary. But we're not wedded to this and would like to explore various combinations.

I really want the logo to highlight the "small to big" aspect of our approach. Other companies stay really big or are too complex. Also, the websites of other companies in my category tend to look the same. I want to stay away from images that are trite or cliche in education. (No apples, chalkboards, pencils, globes, or kids!) I'm hoping this will convey "small-to-BIG" in a fresh way. (It might be that a symbol that conveys magnifying or ripples would work--but if so, it should probably be abstract so that it is not cliche.) I clicked "pictoral" AND "abstract" as options; but I'm thinking it's more likely that "abstract" will work best for me. I can't wait to see your ideas!
Also: Please note that I am attaching a copy of my book cover, because I really like it. I really like the colors (the particular version of a dark grey, the aqua and orange colors.) I also really like the doodle as a way to represent the small to big. However, I don't like that it conveys a feeling of wandering. I'm also attaching a) a logo that I like because of it's balance and simplicity (Stxsandstones). Then, I'm attaching what I'd like for you to avoid--the cliche/educational look of typical education websites. The file I'm attaching below shows the logos and images from some of my competitors. These are looks I want to avoid--to be fresh and distinctive. Thanks!!
