Some general thoughts/parameters below, but feel free to surprise us and let your design instincts lead you.
STYLE: Generally leaning towards clean lines, clear layouts, and classy san-serif fonts. Subtle accents and graphics instead of flashy. Would like to see a variety of styles, including:
- An icon or graphic that incorporates text
- Typography-dominated - manipulation of words only
Color: We are interested in professional, sophisticated use of color. Open to designers choosing color combinations. Our initial recommendations of blues/greens/grays were simply a starting point. This logo will be used on paper and online, so should look good on screens and paper, in color and in black and white.
Final deliverable should include a version with a transparent background to enable us to easily incorporate into websites, documents, presentations, etc.
Open to designs that include full company name "Abaxx Associates, Inc." and designs with the company's short name, "Abaxx." In designs with full company name, "Associates, Inc." should be less prominent (i.e., lighter color, smaller text). Company name is pronounced A-baxx. To the extent it does not distract from design, would appreciate graphical feature or text effect that helps reader pick this up (e.g., macron over letter A or other emphasis)
