This designer was very easy to work with, listened to our feedback, and provided additional designs based on our feedback. I highly recommend them.

How jose1q started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Kid's Music Beat
What’s your company slogan?
Developing every day.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We have a parent company - Music Beat but most of our marketing is done for a sub-brand Kid's Music Beat so we need the design to work if the word Kid's is removed/added. We are happy for the Music Beat lettering to look one way and the Kid's part being added onto it is an obvious fun and playful visual addition.
Our target market is tertiary education professional women.
Our services are music early learning programs for children 0 - 5 years. Music lessons for children 5 - 18. Music therapy for all ages and we also sell musical equipment.
We are staffed by music therapy and professional musicians and all of our work is research based. The founder is a world authority on early learning and development. We have been running for 10 years with our services seperated across multiple entities and we are merging them all together now under this brand.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
As you can tell from the logos we chose we are seeking our lettering to have the design work in it, not lettering that has a seperate image to make the complete logo. I guess that makes this a typographic logo?
Happy to have a typographic logo on a background that gives extra meaning.
The visual themes we want to incorporate into the lettering and style are:
1) The parent child relationship (see the African sculpture attached).
2) Music (eg. a quaver or sheet music attached).
3) Heart (we get a lot of feedback that uses the words warmth and connection - attached).
4) Community (the circle of community - see Hello fresh logo and the community circle image attached).
5) Brain/development/growth (attached).
