Perspectiverse needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 41 designs submitted by 15 freelance designers.
"Perspectiverse Engine" (a video game engine)
Video games using this amazing engine transforms your iPhone/iPad into a MOVABLE WINDOW that peers into a 3D game world. It requires players to stand up, look around, look up, look down, spin, and twist (in real life!) in order to interact with the virtual world as though they're actually moving around within it.
An IDEAL LOGO may have some kind of abstract twisting human figure holding out an iPad-like device. The logo should also communicate the MOVEMENTS people make when playing these games.
Here is how such a game works:

Winning designer will receive an ART CREDIT in all our games using this engine. The engine has already received considerable positive press, most notably in TechCrunch and Touch Arcade.
Core concepts:
1. MOVABLE WINDOW/LENS: Your iPhone/Pad as a movable window/lens that peers into a virtual 3D world.
2. IMMERSIVENESS: Player is surrounded in all directions by the 3D game world
3. ORIENTATION/GYROSCOPES
4. ACTIVENESS/FUN
