We have an exciting project, the task in creating an identity for ShortSaleGallery.com. This is the first step in the project, and we are looking for a clean, modern, logo that will be easily recognizable. I would like to stay away from the typical house icon, unless you have a truly exceptional mark that you feel deserves attention.

I do NOT want this logo to give the impression of a bargain basement sale. I think the name is throwing everyone off. The idea is to create a logo that will be recognizable. To give you an idea of the design direction we are focused on for our website, check out spotrunner.com. Our site will be similar in look and feel. One idea for the logo may be to make a unique mark using the letters S-S-G in a unique configuration. If I get a mark that is memorable, we can keep the text can be simple and plain. So far the only text entry I have really liked at this point is Squared Logo's 1st entry. I hope this helps steer everyone in the right direction.

The logo should appeal to a mass audience, generally buyers and sellers. Feel free to use whatever colors you wish as the winning design will set the design direction of the branding. Immediate feedback will be given to all entrants, and prompt payment will be made to the contest winner.
