How CSD started their logo design journey
My name is Michael Molina. I am a top-producing loan officer in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. I have been so successful, I have been recruited by a large mortgage banker and will be expanding my business to include all of California. I am totally reworking my personal branding and image. I have been doing loans for 17-years and I finance the rich and affluent as well as the humble, first-time homebuyer. I am "Everyone's Lender". I love the work. I love the people. I love taking a dream and turning it into a reality. This project is for MY PERSONAL BRANDING as a loan officer only...it is not to promote my company.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My logo must have broad appeal: Borrowers: both the rich and famous, the middle-class, and the meek and humble.
Professionals: Real estate agents; CPA's, attorneys, other professionals, etc. When you look at me and my logo, you should feel like you are seeing someone just like you.
As I said above, when someone looks at my logo, I would hope that they get the "feel" of relating to me. I feel like my picture should be central to any logo design, of course, but I am hoping to see options with and without it. I want to incorporate the term: "Everyone's Lender" in the design. Like me, my logo should be contemporary. Current. Relevant. Modern. Edgy. Sophisticated. Friendly. Happy. I want it to catch the eye and draw you in. Absolutely nothing cute or campy or silly or cartoonish. I have a terrific sense of humor, but I am also extremely professional and serious about my work and the service I provide to my clients. Greys, blacks and blues are a big hit with me.... but I am open to anything. Hopefully, my logo will convey the same feeling you get when you are sitting in an ultra-modern contemporary top-floor loft of a 55-story apartment building, talking to clients and friends while sipping a martini.
