In the "Choose Industry" section one is only allowed to choose a single option but I think this endeavor is a multimedia education, arts, and news organization. With online as well as real world events and happenings. Is is the umbrella organization for a singular artist/activist yoga and meditation teacher as well as those he brings in as collaborators and aggregates.
About the CEO: social change agent, new paradigm transformative arts educators and innovators and media activist creating a company that will allow me to have a positive impact on society and to travel internationally. I am a dedicated professional with an ongoing commitment for greater experience and education related to the social, creative, technical, and managerial pursuit of social entrepreneurship with emphasis on social campaigns and events, multimedia journalism, visual information, public affairs, transformative art, spiritual activism, yogic arts and meditation.
The website will be a multi-media magazine, host my blog, videos and photojournalism, be a portal to online courses and workshops as well as a calendar to organized events, retreats and teaching schedule.
The name "Altarmodern" plays on the word Alter, as in to change or modify, and "Altar" as in an elevated place or structure, as a mound or platform, at which religious rites are performed. I was inspired by an important exhibition of art in 2009 at the Tate by the title of "Altermodern" http://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tat…-manifesto <—— read here for more inspiration.
The logo could incorporate the words: art, consciousness, activism but I would like the logo to function without these words too.
I am a very spiritual person but want the look and feel to be modern, secular, humanist, universal, ecological and "scientific".
I hope these notes and images present a fun and interesting challenge to the designers out there who choose to take it on. Thank you very much for helping me clarify this vision.
