My job description was very vague since I didn't know what I wanted initially as the logo for a new bakery - but it was great to work with Serghio. He created something that was interesting and that will work very well for me. Thank you!
How Webcorp started their logo design journey
We have a database that contains contact information –first name, last name, phone number, email address -for approximately 4000 high profile people working in the oil and gas industry in Calgary Alberta Canada. We are offering this database online to our subscribers and need a website logo branded with the name CalgaryContacts.com -that reflects the offering.
Calgary's oil patch is populated by high octane, fast charging people with a no-bs, "get it done" attitude. The website logo needs to reflect this. Consider metallic color treatments for this purpose or other sufficiently "manly" (ahem) treatments.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Target audience is sales professionals working in the oil and gas space. These are technically savvy users.
the logo must fit into a space of 250x250 pixels. the logo must "work" with a gray or black background which is the color scheme the rest of the site will be utilizing.
We are interested in seeing treatments with the following properties:
1) Variations on the theme "C3" -where C3 stands for CalgaryContacts.com
2) *OR*, it may be advisable to overlay the logo on a background depicting the province of Alberta, Canada. A sample where this is done (which we're quite fond of) can be found at the following URL: http://westernpc.ca/
3) Any logo that emphasizes a heavy industrial vibe -oil and gas being a heavy industry.
