Baumatix needs a new attractive logo

Baumatix is a new San Francisco based business focused on the design and build of modern european style appartments and condominiums. It will stand out from its competitors for its innovative, automated and robotized building systems. We are looking for a logo that would transmit simplicity yet produce a WOW effect on people. We don’t want the typical buildings that are usually on construction company logos. We want our logo to have the company name on it (perhaps with an elaborate B or X) and with an attractive modern icon. The icon should not be letter-based. The icon should be able to be used independently too, causing people to relate it to the company. So the full logo should include the name + icon, but both parts should be able to be used and look nice independently. For the colors, we are open to suggestions, we don’t have anything in mind. A logo style that we like is the one for USG (usg.com), not particularly the logo but they style. This is just an idea though, we are open to any new ideas. The attached "Halyx" logo is too basic, but its an idea for simplicity. If you have a different proposal, don't hesitate to submit it. We are looking forward to receiving many designs :)
