Enjoyed working with designuki. Very professional and quick to respond to feedback. We had planned to use one of his original submissions, and asked him to experiment a little more. After several other designers submitted, designuki's original and additional work stood out from the rest. We loved how he subtly incorporated our company's initials into the design. Brilliant.
Hope to get to work with him again, highly recommended!
How Logo for kiosk started their logo design journey
I am a former executive that tired of the corporate world and went out in search of VC and PE monies to start my own company. As fate would have it I found a way back into the corporate world starting up a new business venture for another uber large Fortune 500. I have decided not to use corporate shared services and use this product (99Designs) having had great success with them in the past. I look forward to partnering with a designer during the development of multiple designs including: logo, brand, web, icon, print, collateral and print.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our pilot targets two channels. The first is shopping malls. The second is grocery. The target audience ranges from ages 9 - 22 but should also include the parents of younger children. I think it is important that the logo has elements of "fun" that attracts young, tween and teens while having enough professionalism to not scare off the parents that might be putting their money into the kiosk.
I am looking for a brand that will attract attention as persons walk by understanding that they don't know anything about this new kiosk product. I am wanting "eye candy" that makes you want to know more about what this product is. Therefore, any "hook" that gives the audience an insight, via the logo, that the "Facebooth" is a photo booth (or photo related) would be wonderful. The booth allows for creative freedoms with its users (unlike any other booth) so its not a stretch to have a creative logo.
Remember the logo will play in booth the mall and the grocery store. It needs to scale to the small (as a logo on the UI) and the large (on the side of a photo booth that is 8' wide). I need it to be professional but should be fun and exciting to attract the wide target audience listed above.
I am not looking for a stylized font that reads Facebooth. I am looking for Facebooth and elements that I can play off of for future projects (these projects will follow in the coming weeks).
I need it fast. The booth will go into test markets in October on the West and East coasts.
Please feel free to experiment with colors!
