BetGeek logo and graphic definition

I am looking for a logo and graphic policy (colour arrangement for documents) for the setup of my blog, that will use betgeek.com as DNS.

Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff)

Expected deliverables for this contest:
-         A logo
-         A document that materialises your idea and recommendations for the graphic colour arrangement. You may choose to work on any of the following:
  o       Blog template
  o       Business card
 o       Letterhead template
  o       PowerPoint template

**Just select one** and I will use these to create the rest of my online stationary. You are not expected to provide this: as long as I understand what your idea is, that's fine by me (ie a meaningful enough sketch will absolutely do...)

Some ideas on a matching font (find an existing one and suggets it) are also very welcome.

Brief details:
The logo should be a representation of my personal interests and of me in general. Its primary use will be to create an online brand that pulls together various audiences, all interested in my views and comments on a variety of uncorrelated topics:

-         Technology and technology related topics, scientific view of life. Most of my personal existence is IT / online related
 
-         Psychology, most particularly Neuro-Linguistic Programming (I should soon be a certified master Practitioner). An extension of that would be a strong taste for human and life excellence in any shape or form

-         Magic performance: classic sleight of hand. My heroes include people like Tony Slydini (cf: http://www.youtube.com/results?sear…ry=slydini , Dennis Barlotta (http://www.magicincorporated.com/)

-         Food for thought: I am a data-hungry kinda guy, who loves to and does know stuff about about a lot of stuff…

-         Making money off-and online:
  o       I have been self-employed for a while and have my own IT consulting business
  o       Am becoming interested in passive income-type models, ie real estate, websites and the likes
- Betting systems: I play a fair bit with betting exchanges (http://www.betfair.com) and like the numerical side of creting methods that may make money using horse races, sporting events or reality TV bets. The blog will be a place for me to discuss systems I've tried and the results obtained with them

-         Becoming a seasoned website acquisition expert: as a practical experimentation of the above, I will go through

Logo flavours:
Some adjectives to define me,  that should act as so many insights to find reflected in the logo:
-         Colourful / flamboyant / Individual
-         Highly intelligent
-         Mathematics fan / Scientific about life
-         Original
-         Blunt / blatant
-         Passionate
-         Hard-working, super driven
-         Geeky with a social side (I have a girlfriend and am at ease with myself)
-         Artistic. I also write fiction novels and poetry, compose music etc…
-         Strong taste for classic things: old wines, classical music, non-fashionable clothes
-         Business / Corporate minded
-         In case this is helpful: I am a 35-yo male based in the UK
