Bird Shock - KABA® bird shock tape systems
Business owners can attest; birds cause a lot of damage and wear and tear to roofs, signs, walkways, etc. To keep all birds away, you can stick this really easy to use tape on signs, roof edges, window sills, roof peaks, pipes, ledges...you name it. It's extremely low-profile, runs on green technology (solar powered)...and is proven effective.
It's a lot like an electric fence - however, the charge is more uncomfortable than painful. The point isn't to harm any animals; rather, it is to act as a deterrent. KABA® bird shock tape is self-stick with 2 wires that carry the electric pulses. Its durable, made of long lasting acrylics and high grade aluminum. Once installed, neighborhood birds walking across the 2 wires receive a harmless, but memorable sting on the foot.
Professional installers. This is not a website that will sell the tape to individuals; just licensed professional installers.
Here's our current logo: http://www.birdshock.com
It is awful. For starters, the tape is supposed to keep birds away - yet our "mark" shows a bird, happy as can be, holding the tape like it's his pet snake. Also - the bird isn't cute. It's creepy. And it looks like it's wearing glasses. It's supposed to be a pigeon. Yet, it's brown. It is a horrendous mark for our product.
So - keep an open mind - we want this to be professional, yet have a fun feel. This is an inventive product by a man who not only created the idea - he built the machine that manufactures the product. He cares deeply about it - and animals. He owns a pest control company in NH, and does not harm animals - just removes them and places them in areas where they won't do any more harm.
