It delivers on-line, in real time water usage monitoring, so that abnormal usage and leaks can be quickly identified and rectified. The solution is designed to create significant water savings, reduce CO2 emissions, and increase Green Star Ratings.
Key features of the Watersave Smart Meter solution include:
•Immediate notification of abnormal water usage to user via SMS to nominated mobile or multiple email addresses
•It provides real time data acquisition and display, in 15 minute intervals, via login on the secure website. This is a major innovation on other systems that can be delayed by up to one day in data transfer.
•Watersave has developed a unique way of communicating through a RF wireless signal between the transmitter and receiver so that a solenoid valve located at the water meter can either open or close the water supply. Thus when a leak is detected through a remote computer, the water supply can be shut down from that remote computer, until it is possible to fix the leak.
•The receiver/transceiver displays the time and date, battery condition, communication status to the web site, and the actual water meter reading.
